Important: Beginning January 2024, SCE will be rolling out a new and improved My Account experience. Customers will be upgraded to the new design based on their account type. Our Help Center articles now provide instructions for both experiences.

How to Close Online Account

If you no longer wish to have online access to your SCE energy accounts, you can deactivate your sce.com User ID. Log In to SCE Account. If you haven’t set up My Account yet, you can register online.  

  1. Select “Settings” from the top navigation menu.
  2. Once on the Settings page, click the “Profile” tab.
  3. Under “Manage Account,” click Deactivate My SCE.com User ID.

Not seeing these options? Your dashboard may not have been updated to the New My Account experience just yet. Please follow the steps below: 

  1. Navigate to "Profile Settings" in the left panel.

  1. Scroll to the bottom of the screen and click "Deactivate My SCE.com User ID."

  1. Tick the checkbox to the left of the terms and conditions to confirm you will no longer have online account access to SCE.com.
  2.  Click "Yes, Deactivate my user ID."
